“It was lovely working with you at Drew University. You are vibrant, attentive and brilliant at reader’s advisory. Thank you for being focused and kind during my first time training at the Circulation desk. You have taught me so much about the ways in which reading and activism intersect. It is your enthusiasm for reading and community engagement that makes you a great librarian and colleague. I wish you the best in all future endeavors.” –Yanira Ramirez, Drew University (2019)

When Jenna (she/hers) was a kid, she wanted to grow up to be a stand-up comic. Now she's a Teen Librarian, and it turns out there's not that much of a difference. She works at a public library in Central New Jersey (which is a real place, despite many residents arguing to the contrary.) Jenna is an advocate for teens and queer youth. She came up with her opinions herself which, maybe not all that original, do not reflect the views of the community or library where she works.
